Tall towers, tall chimneys

The central and twin west towers of York Minster are seen here from the north-west section of the city walls which runs parallel to Gillygate.

  1. Nice capture of the towers from a different perspective. I love the brick building.

  3. I love glimpsing those white towers - most attractive, soaring over the old buildings.

  4. Like me, you like trees especially winter ones, filtering views. You are lucky, no scaffolding on the towers. I had to do a watercolor of the view up the Shambles, painstakingly transferring the information from one un-scaffolded tower to the other covered one! Tricky stuff. Cheers from Canada.
